PARKING RESTRICTIONS
If you are the guest of an event taking place at The Seneca Ridge, it is VERY IMPORTANT that you follow the parking and transportation instructions given to you by the host of the event.
Our clients have been specifically instructed to assign parking lot access to a small pre-chosen selection of guests from their event. Therefore if you have not been explicitly told that you have permission to park on-site, then you MUST take the group transportation the host has provided for their guests.
Parking conditions are strictly enforced by the town, and therefore we do not hesitate to turn cars away once the lot is full.
If you arrive early in an attempt to secure a parking spot, without permission to do so, then you are just causing other guests that WERE given permission to park on site to have to be turned away. Please do not do this.
*We do not know what the shuttling schedules are for your specific event. Please check the information provided to you by the host. You can usually find everything you need to know on their event website.
DRESS APPROPRIATELY
When checking the weather for the day of your event, please consider the fact that you will be outside exposed to those weather conditions for several hours. While, yes, we have a barn to cover you during cocktail hour, and a tent to cover you during dinner and dancing, these are shelters from rain, not from heat or cold. No portion of the event you are attending will take place in the house located on the property. There is no guests access to this house whatsoever.
HOT WEATHER:
The best we can do in the heat is provide industrial fans in the corners of the barn and tent. But we certainly cannot provide a fan for every guest. So if you know you are more affected by the heat than most, we strongly suggest you bring your own handheld battery powered fan and drink plenty of water.
COLD WEATHER:
If it is cold enough, The Seneca Ridge will provide heaters inside the barn and tent. These heaters work wonders, but it will not be like sitting inside your living room. Our barn is not insulated, and our tent does not have solid walls. There will be drafts. Please dress warmly! Again, if it's 50 or 60 degrees remember, you're not just out in those temperatures for a 20 minute ceremony, you are out in those temperatures for the entire event.
ACCESSIBILITY
The Seneca Ridge is a wheel chair and walker accessible property.
There is an ADA restroom with a ramp.
There are two designated handicap parking spots.
